We installed Need for Speed:Rivals game. It hangs sometimes when we play. But when we right click on it and click on Run with graphic processor>>>> High performance Nvidia processor the game runs smoothly but the fan starts rotating at a very fast pace and the battery drains way too fast. Considering the laptop's specs are more than the system requirements of the game. Why is this thing happening? And is this normal?

When playing games consider connecting power cable all the time.Its normal no need to worry.GPU is most power hungry component in laptop.

I suggest you to play games not more than 2 hrs continuously.You also should consider getting an laptop cooler to be on safer side.

1 hr.Its starts from 250 bucks to 3000 bucks.Deepcool is a good brand.well if you game a lot then spending around 500-1000 bucks is not a bad deal.
