Error message when booting windows

Hello friends,
My pc while booting displays
Invalid boot.ini file
Booting from c:\windows\

and it boots normally after this message. Anyways, i want to get rid of this message.

PC details:
Processor: Intel C2D
OS: Windows xp professional

Temporary way is to disable notification from startup services.(type msconfig in run box and hit enter to bring up manager there disable entry in startup tab.)

Or
restore system to earlier worked point. Be careful to select "only c drive" as monitoring drive in restore settings.

First of all go to search and type boot.ini then you will find a file named boot.ini backup ...
right click on it and open it in notepad and copy all the text. Now go o system in control panel. Go to Advanced Tab. Next, go to settings under Start Up and Recovery then click on Edit. Then paste the copied texts from boot.ini backup ..... and restart your computer.
