Really cheap moves from Apple lately. No Combo drive still? WTF is up with them? It might even be costing them more to manufacture that Combo drive than the DVD writer given that most of the other drives are Superdrives.

And the Apple remote, well, shame on them. The MBA not having it was one thing, but if the Macbook ceases to have one of these it just plain sucks.

Love the other upgrades though. 2.4Ghz for the Macbook is highly appreciated!

@Qwerty: Seriously? Typing "@" is so much simpler than "at"? :)

Why would Mac PC be happy with 6600 GT? People need to run pro apps, play 1080p videos and dual boot 'Wind-woes'. I know many people who have XP installed only to play games.

I am one of those people. windows is only for gaming. Linux for other jobs and pro stuff like GIMP, Maya, etc

It's a rumor. All rumors say "may be", but only about 1/10th of them actually turn out to be true.

Basically, it hasn't been announced by Apple so no one knows what will happen. The "may be"s and "will be"s will always be there, but we can only know for sure when we hear from Apple. :)
