what about incredimail? It has a large collection of emoticons, backgrounds, greetings cards etc. And it is fun to use. Detects most of the mail servers automatically. I am using it for a while and found it good.

Mods, pls start a poll for the favourite mail client.

Hotmail doesn't support any email client

Hmm If I recall correctly both Outlook Express and Outlook supports hotmail.
I use outlook XP . Never bought the 2003 version and most likely wont.

Well then , provide the settings for Outlook Express.

Bah , I took a look at hotmail and just found that it requires some kind of subscription to get access to it thru an email client.

But just in case anyone was interested the below was the process.
Open Outlook Express. Then go to the tools menu and click on Accounts. Shown below

Then go to the Mail tab and click Add > Mail as shown below

Continue the wizard untill you reach this page.

Select either Hotmail or MSN. Continue the wizard. At this point you could previously download your mail and stuff from hotmail. but unfortunately it requires a subscription now :(

Pretty simple. ;) You have to see here

Backing up the entire profile

This method will back up all of your profile data, including settings, bookmarks, mail, and installed extensions and themes. If you have more than one profile, all profiles will be backed up together, at once.

1. Completely close all Mozilla programs, including the Mozilla Suite, Firefox, and Thunderbird. Don't forget to exit the Mozilla Suite's Quick Launch if it's open (as indicated in the Windows system tray). Make sure no Mozilla Suite/Firefox/Thunderbird processes are still running.

2. Open the file explorer on your system (Windows users: open My Computer) and navigate to your profile folder. Go up in the folder hierarchy (Windows users: press the icon with the folder and the up arrow) until you see the folder "Profiles". If you selected a non-default location for your profile, you may not have a "Profiles" folder. Instead, use the folder than contains "pluginreg.dat", "registry.dat", and "profiles.ini" (not all these files may exist).

3. Copy (but not move) the entire profile folder to another location, for example your home directory (Windows users: My Documents is your home directory).

Restoring or migrating your backed-up profile

Use this procedure to restore your backed-up profile or move it to another computer.

2. Copy the folder you backed up to the exact same location it was when you made the backup. If you are moving from one OS to another (e.g., Windows 98 to Windows XP), or if your Windows boot drive letter has changed (e.g., from "C:\" to "D:\") or your Windows login/user name is different, see Moving your profile folder.

Making a partial backup

In some situations you might want to back up only certain files from your profile folder. Below are a few suggested files, but see this more extensive list to choose the specific files you want to back up.

* bookmarks.html — Bookmarks.
* prefs.js — Current user preferences.
* user.js — User-added preferences (overrides prefs.js every startup).
* cookies.txt — Cookies.
* hostperm.1 — Cookies permissions, image permissions, and extension website install permissions list.
* signons.txt — Saved passwords. Requires the "key3.db" file to work.
* key3.db — Supplements password file.
* cert8.db — Needed for key3.db file
