Sony DRU-810A should be around 3500/- bucks.

hmmm....my sony is working absolutely fine since december last year .... though at that time i purchased it for 5300

not to deviate from the subject but get the Benq DW1640 instead of Sony...you won't regret it.

Actually the Sony DRU-810A is a Benq DW1640 OEM. But yes, do go for the Benq itself. If it isnt available, you can opt for this model.

You would lose out on the advanced Qsuite features available in the Benq. Of course you could always flash with Benq firmware, but thats another thing now.
