DVD RW Windows Driver Corrupted!!!!

REQUIRED URGENT !!!! HELP !!!!

I am Using SONY DVD RW DRU530A

RIGHT NOW I AM NOT ABLE TO USE THIS HARDWARE DUE TO THIS PROBLEM:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

PLZ SUGGEST ME POSSIBLE WAYS TO CURE THIS. AS WITHOUT A "CD/DVD ROM" I AM HELPLESS TO GAIN ACCESS ANY KIND OF SOFTWARE.

THE ERROR IS STILL VISIBLE :roll: WHEN I TRY TO USE ANOTHER ROM & A NERO IMAGE DRIVE.[/b]

open device manager and goto your dvd drive , right click and select uninstall, then select scan for hardware changes in the action menu. this must fix the problem . if required Update the drivers from your Windows XP CD( i hope you r using XP).

Hi! Charangk...

I already done all the required ytd. the problem is the ROM is ok. i don't have a problem of ROM driver. the problem lies on Windows driver supporting the CD/DVD ROM part. In "MY COMPUTER" section, i am not able to see any icon of the ROM.

how to use a CD/ DVD without any ROM is working on my system?????
