dr divx does not change .avi(ogg media)

Dr. Divx is not being able to change a .avi file on my computer to divx codec.It gives the error that the file format is not supported in it.It is actually a type of ogg media(as said by Gspot). So I would like any good converter software to divx for the given type.Please provide the link also.

Have K-Lite's latest codec pack installed and use WinAVI converter to convert the videos to .avi or any other format you wish to.Here's the link

Ogg is a audio compression codec and dosen't relate to video.

Winavi converter didn't help

Winavi converter was not of a much help as it refused to convert giving the error that the file cannot be played by Windows Media Player which is actually true but it plays nicely with VLC media player.
