Double messaging

nokia 2760 sends double (duplicate)message to the same number.i tried the sim card(bsnl) in 3110c and it works fine.can anyone tell me what is the problem.

Also insert some other SIM and try to send SMS, if still the handset is sending double SMSs, it's time to get it repaired... No other option
