i just finished playing the demo version of doom3, just to test wether it works on my system(check my rig). Man did it work...im playing it on 800X600 on high. And gives me damn good framerates.
My Config is: Amd 1.7 256mb sdram 40gb hdd. club 3d 9600nrml graphics card. Creative inspire 4.1 speakers with craetive digital 4.1 digital sound card.
The only problem is sound. . I adjusted the speakers in control pannel to surround sound as well as 5.1 surround(if i set it to quadrophonic doom 3 dsnt detect them.)still The game dsnt give me full surround sound, i mean the speakers just act as 2 desktop spkrs whereas in all the other games i get distinct sounds from each spkrs. and from what ive heard doom3 sounds damn good with surround spkrs.
So plzzz help me out and tell me how do i or waht do i do to get full surround effects on my system
