Divx Converter

Hey guys could someone pls help and tell me how to increase resolution of a divx movie. I already have one on my hard drive but i want to increase to higher resolution before copying it into a CD. Secondly pls tell me how to convert a .WMV file to divx.

mind you increasing a resolution would mean messing with the AR .. unless you keep the AR constant .. the movie will be stretched out..
ALSO most importantly if you think increasing the res would mean improving quality.. you have been living in dark.. increasing res wont increase quality but only increase the size of the file which does not translate to a increase in quality..
IF increasing quality was your aim then.. my friend get an original and i mean THE original DVD +9 of that particular movie and then use the proggie called dvd decryptor.. in case you run into trouble .. i am here to help you

I recommend "Xilisoft Video Convertor 3" for conversion from any video/audio format to any video/audio format.. Pretty good user interface too.. U can also tweak with the default settings of the target format if u r a pro!
