display not working!

Hey guys, seems like i've run into a problem!
I purchased a 6670 5 days ago. My monitor has vga input so I was using a dvi to vga adapter supplied with the graphics card to run the monitor. However, today after opening my cabinet to arrange the wires, when I tried to connect my monitor to the card, it did not turn on and went into power saving mode. But, if i connect it to the vga port of the motherboard, it runs fine.
My question is whether the problem is with my graphics card or the adapter?

see if you accidentally moved/damaged your gpu.
also check the connecting wires, maybe you pulled one out or forgot to plug it in by mistake.

Okay mods, you can close this thread..problem solved!
The vga cable was a little loose (stupid me)

np, something like this happend to me just about half an hour ago
in my case it was my lan cord, it jjust had moved a bit off
