I have norton sys works 05 installed in win xp pro os. whenever i start the norton disk doctor to start hdd check i get a message saying that the os or a prog has exclusive access to this drive and disk checking can't continue under these conditions. plz suggest a way to check using disk doc and is it good to format hdd once every 6 months??
coz i cant uninstall entire firewall for a disk check
