how can I disable images in a simple way?

I'd like to switch between the options "load images automatically" to "don't load images automatically" very easily coz some sites contains nude images that I dont like but the same time I hav to download from rapidshare or megaupload.

So I uncheck the option "load images automatically" from tools > Options > contents to prevent load images.

but whenever I try download from RS or Megaupload I can't see any code to enter,

so I have to check "load images automatically" again from options.

hence I need a simple method to switch between the options

or

is there any add-ons?

pls help me

Which version of FF you use? I am having 1.5v.
I think those images location is external so do thew following.
In FF, under Tools>Options>Content check 'for the originating website only'.

Alternately, if you have disabled the images completely, then you can right click the image location and select 'View Image'

Install the FireFox extension ImgLikeOpera from here

ImgLikeOpera allows load only the images that you want in Firefox browser.
This extension is very useful for non-broadband users.

Features:

* placeholders for blocked images (hi, LJ treads!);
* (re)load image from context menu or Ctrl+rightMouseClick;
* forced expiration time (5 minutes - 3 months);
* policies for tabs;
* filters.

You can set one of policies for each tab:

* don't load images;
* load cached images only;
* load images for the originating Web site only;
* load all images.

Also you can block/allow images with filters. ImgLikeOpera supports two types of filters:
simple, and Regular Expression (thanks AdBlock).
I think this is what you are looking for!!

Hanging, since 2004..
Ya u can use maxthon too, the access to this option plus many other enable/disable features in one menu.

Also u can use 'show picture' command in right click menu to view a certion picture even if the images are disabled, like the image verification in rapidshare.

I too have been using ImageLikeOpera ext. for long but now with unlimited broadband there is no need for it :). Adblock with adblock filterset is more than enough for my image blocking/hiding needs.
