Dirt Cheap Android Phone Required!

Hello folks... After using my trusty old Galaxy Pro for almost a year and a half,I'am looking for a "Cheap"upgrade. Here are the details:
1. Budget?
-6-7K INR... Cannot Extend beyond 7.5K...

2. Display type and size?
-Anything will do...

3. Form Factor? bar , slider, flip ?
-Touch

4. Preferred choice of brand?
-No preference

5. Preferred input method ( QWERTY,
touchscreen, numpad , touch- n- type) .
-Touch

6. What camera option you want ? Please
specify need for flash , autofocus , front facing
camera.
-Not bothered.

7. Preferred operating system ? (Android ,
Symbian, iOS , Windows Phone etc) .
-Android only.

8. Preferred connectivity options ( 3G , Wifi
etc) Please specify clearly .
-HSDPA/WiFi/GPS.

9. Preferred applications ( Flash , Swype, GPS,
etc)?
-No preference.

10. Primary use of handset (multimedia ,
camera, mails, internet , gaming etc )?
-Multimedia,Mails,Internet,Lil bit of gaming. I use my phone as a substitute to my Laptop...

11. Any specific mobile phones in
consideration?
-Samsung Galaxy Pocket/Y/Music,Huawei X3/Micromax A87.

12. Any other info that you want to share
-The dev.support should be good as I keep flashing custom ROMs on my phone. Have suffered a lot due to the unavailabilty of CROMs for my Galaxy Pro so don't want to buy a phone without dev.support.
BTW,I'll be selling off my Galaxy Pro without any accessories. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll start a For Sale thread in the Bazaar Section...

If you need Android in that price than you have to go with Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

in this case say bye bye to all mobiles from Indian brands. Your best bet is the Huawei X5 U8800 which is still one of the most supported mobiles in XDA.

will cost you 7.5-8k but at least worth the money. Else check HTC Explorer but DEV support is less.

CM10 released for it!! Just go for it!!

I would suggest sony xperia tipo over the Explorer if you can stretch till 8.5k

How is the Huawei X5 U8800? There is a Huawei ASC near my house,so no issues in finding a Service Center. But I don't think I'll be able to get it locally. So should I order it from Flipkart? Or should I wait till Xmas/New Year for a possible slash in price?

Also the Samsung Galaxy Y/Pocket seem to be having a few ICS/JB Custom ROMS. Are these based on ICS/JB or just themed to appear like ICS/JB?

Explorer is the best option for you, in any case if you extend your budget then Tipo is a good option too.

AFAIK there are actual ICS roms for SGY, but the JB ones are JB-themed ICS. Btw Flipkart is offering 2k cashback for Huawei U8800 Pro, so you can get it at 7999.

Ok guys. So I have ordered a Huawei Ideos X5 fom Flipkart today. But I have a doubt. Do the newer X5s come with Gingerbread pre-installed or I'll have to flash it by myself?
