On 6-7-11 i bought sapphire radeon HD 4350 1GB card & installed on pci-E slot.

After installing its drivers system has slowed and hangs after few mins.
I rebooted many times but nothing changes & also in device manager did not show any incompatible.

Now i tried to update the ati catalyst drivers, system hangs, i rebooted and successfully update it but did not reboot when it shows the reboot dialog.

In bios i changed the aperture size from 128 to 64 r 32(dont remember it).

Now the system has changed color pixel to 4bit (something) & resolution to 0x0p screen has big icons some big dots really dirty i tried changing but did not work.
When i open ati catalyst controls it tells update the drivers.

Even fedora hangs and slows wen desktop effects r applied.

Am really blank wat to do???

lets sort it all out.

1. is your os genuine, or is it of the *cough*pirated*cough* kind?
2. you dont need to change the aperture size, you alreasy have enough ram on your gpu
3. try to re-install windows, if possible
4. try ubuntu, its easier to configure than fedora (imho, of course)
5. does your motherboard have a pci-e slot? coz aperure size is used mainly for agp cards

also, provide a few screenshots, if possible

check your power supply unit/cables and check your ram

give your complete system specs, including processor, mobo, ram etc

Windows was Reinstalled now, system hangs after few mins.

Also nfs most wanted 'easy info' shows unknown compatible about the card.

Known fever of the system- it would not reboot i used to long press the power button and start once again.

is the smps local?
have you tried replacing the ram?
is the ram installed properly?
check or replace your hard drive cables.
is the gpu second hand?
does the computer function normally WITHOUT the graphics card?

Yes, system runs smoothly without graphics card.

Gpu-1st hand, it was sent to vendors service center yesterday & they replaced with a new one,
Again the problem exits, system hangs after few mins.

Correction-smps is 450watts frontech company.

hmm, your gpu is fine, and os is ok too

it may be a problem with the smps

if possible, use a friend's smps to check.

well, it might be that you pushed too hard on installing the gpu and the motherboard touched the case somewhere, shorting out stuff on the mobo.

are you sure the gpu works perfectly on another computer?
