Diary Software

I am planning to write a diary. So can someone suggest some nice diary softwares. Have been hunting on the net since 3 days, but dint get anything nice.

I have used one diary software long time ago....got from Digit CD.I dont remeber the name of that software.But use can use of the following

1) iDiary (diary can contain a mixture of pictures and formatted text)

write your own blogs.. I write my personal diary in that way

Naah. I want it to be used even offline. So blogs wont do me any good.

Pls suggest some more, possibly if you have used it coz there are loads of junk available on the net.

Also, it should have some option to write some notes without dates. (can be handy for writing thoughts)
