1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I would like to use this system to build Android applications, Games for Android, Websites and play some heavy games which will be released in the future which I can't already play on my i5 system with intel hd4000.

Applications I would like to use almost daily:
Eclipse, Android emulator, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, GTA IV, Notepad:)P), Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, heavy action games.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: I have a budget of INR 1,80,000 but would like to get done around 100k if it wouldn't make a lot of difference.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No, if not necessary.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7, Ubuntu, and Mac OS X(haven't decided the version yet) on Multi-Boot.

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:2TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Yes, I want to by three monitors to get me lots of screen space. I would like to buy a 23 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 Pixels, but I don't want to get over Rs. 13,000 per monitor.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: I don't own anything that I would like to be reused.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: I want it now, but can wait if price is going jump down soon.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I have built multiple desktops.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Kolkata. I can buy either online or locally depends upon the price.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I know there is no such thing as a future proof system but I would like to make this system as much future proof as possible. While I would like to make this system somewhat of a high-end money do matters, so for example: in case of a RAM I would like to buy 8GB for now and when the time is right I would like to buy another 8GB and add to it.

While I would like to play games I would not like to make this system solely for games.

I would like you'll to know that I know absolutely nothing about CPU casing, Graphics Card and PSU's.

What I have found online: This is just what I think to have, I am ready to buy a totally separate system.

Thank you Ashish for your time. I have the following questions:

1. Is there some reason I should go for Asus H87-pro instead of MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard ?

2. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on a graphics card, at most I can go for is MSI NVIDIA N660-2GD5/OC BE 2 GB GDDR5 16K or do you think I should go for some other graphics card in this range?

3. Seasonic M12 ii 650 vs Cooler Master Thunder 700w. Isn't 700w supposed to be a little more powerful than the 650w?

LOL! Spending 180k and going for 15k gfx card totally CRAP! That 650ti boost cannot give you maximum-out on 1080p gaming as considered to future. Look some reviews for that gfx card. It barely handle Battlefield 4 on 1080p @ Ultra settings.

your budget is max 180k ,right?then what is wrong with my config? gaming on 3 1080 monitors and a 15k card? do you think you can get stable 30fps? get 780 ti. it is not out of your budget (as specified).

1)Z87 Mobo is suited for K series cpu i.e overclockable (i7 4770k) .For i7 4770 H87 suits best.

2):-? Atleast you should get R9 280x for 24k.This gpu would be fine for single monitor setup, but if you wanna game at multimonitors , you need more powerful gpu i.e r9 290 or gtx 780ti

3)Get Seasonic with eyes closed.650w is more than enough for your rig. Stay away from CM thunder/extreme series psus.

I am not spending 180k, I have a budget of 180k that means I can spend that, I don't have to.
I am now thinking of Gtx 770, 780 seems little over budget :p
What do you think?

Are you confused? Dont post loose irresponsible comments like that ,it makes you look funny and a troll. The norm is you post your requirement and specify a budget and based on that budget people here suggest you a rig. I have this, I have that , but this and that? What ? Come clear.

Please tell about your gaming requirements ? hardcore gamer, casual or you will run games at single or multiple monitors ?

What is main purpose of rig - Gaming or Multitasking

from developer perspective
if you dont want to game on three monitors then dont go for three monitor setup, instead get DELL U2412M ~ 18K for main monitor and dell s2240l for a auxiliary display.

and keep budget for UPS ???
get APC 1100VA ~6K for monitors and APC smart UPS 1500 ~ 14K + batterypack(?? dont know pricing)

you wanna game on 3 monitors ,right??if yes, get either r9 290 or 780ti.

As Ashish and few others suggested, I would now go for R9 280x.

As my post suggested I am not a hardcore gamer. I don't know how it feels to play on 3 monitors, so I would like to experience it, I think I will play something like Bioshock || NFS MW 2012 :p

I am not confused about my budget, I am a little confused about my configuration though.

Well, I am funny.
Now laugh: I put Jesus as my background pic & now my phone never dies.
Yup, He's my screen-savior.

I don't want to disrespect anyone but according to various sites:
Budget means "allow or provide a particular amount of money". Like I am allowed to dance like a monkey in a public place but I don't do it, why? because I don't have to, I just can.
Just like that 180k is budget, I can spend if it necessary for a very good computer, I don't have to spend it all on parts I won't use like a hardcore.

Again, no disrespect man.

Multitasking. I am not much of a gamer, I would like try some games though, like GTA IV, battlefield, COD Ghost.
You can maybe call me a casual gamer.
