I can see intel's performance is extraordinary for single threaded benchmarks, beating AMD by a fair margin. Both cost the same(almost). Also better Frames in games. Should i switch to intel? If yes also suggest a MOBO equivalesnt to GA-880GM-UD2H .

Per core performance is always better in Intel processors but at the same price point you will get 4 cores of AMD compared to 2 cores of Intel and Phenom II 955 performs better in overall. Currently most of the day to day software are multithreaded in some extent whereas multimedia related software are heavily multi threaded and can take full advantage of Phenom II 955's 4 cores. The single threaded benchmarks are purely for testing purpose...to check the per core performance. But in real world scenario it is highly unlikely that today's applications are single threaded.
