if you're not happy with the replacement, complain again, to DELL as well the retailer.

next time you get replacement, check the monitor at retailers' 1st.

This mark may be due to the hard press of fingers on the screen. As many has that bad habit of touching the screen. I really get annoyed if anyone touches my HPw1907. :D

actually i did check...and i did find the dead pixel.
but i was in a dilemma because when i called them to complain abt the prev monitor they told me there can be up to 4 dead pixels and luckily i had 4 of them.
and this has one...the prob is the way these guys handle the monitor is very harsh and they press the screen VERY hard to check if the dot is a dust or not! so i didn't want to risk them handling it that way and not getting it replaced.

i can live with this dot:(!but will this monitor be prone to more dead pixels?
