hi
I have Pentium 4 Intel(R) Celeron(R) M Processor 1.40 GHz

512 MB of RAM run on Microsoft Windows XP professional Version 2002 Service Pack2 ACER notebook Travelmate 2350 for an year. Now for the last one month i am facing a huge trouble with it
whenever i open more than one window or browser the program crashes with a dead blue screen showing

The minidumps crashes with memory corruption, and a bugcheck of 4E.

0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

Now i would like to know what`s the reason of it and how can i resolve this problem?

0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

This indicates that the memory management Page File Number list is corrupted. Can be caused by corrupt physical RAM, or by drivers passing bad memory descriptor lists.

if you have installed more then one stick of RAM, remove one of the stick and reboot your system, if problem persist, reinstall first memory stick and remove the second memory stick.

this could be due to either an incompatibility issue with the ram stick, or with the mobo.
