Is it strange that this happens to me too from recently?
I recently bought new PC (Gigabyte E350N mobo combo), and have Windows 7 Pro installed. I don't know why it always resets the time to like 6 hrs earlier but no change in date though, everytime I boot. I have set the time zone correctly, and have also set it up to sync from online. :?

Try deselecting the box that says synchronize with Internet time.

Well, I actually had to manually goto the sync time online dialog box and press Sync now button, which used to fix the time.
But I have stopped auto sync for now.

So, is it proper now.
Does sound to me more of a Windows bug than some malware issue, or worn out battery(yours being a new PC and the OP replacing the battery.

Clean other internal parts of PC at regular intervals to avoid such problem. But careful, don't ruin it use a brush and be light on strokes.
