    Hi Guys

I am in India and If i buy something from international online stores such as Amazon.com or ebay.com and gift to someone in India.

Would the person receiving gift or me have to pay some custom duty (its below 10,000/- and this is the limit for duty free clearence)

No matter how costly the item is, you have to pay the custom duty... Not sure abt the %, but it is around 57% on foriegn goods.
