Lurking Around
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
1.Photoshop(heavy use, working with full resolution raw files)
2.Programming(Java,Visual Studio, maybe compiling android from source in the future)
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
20,000/- to 25,000/-

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
If possible

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
Win7 64bit + Linux Mint

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
None.Already have 1.75 Tb.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:

Ans:
Mumbai, will buy from Lamington Road.Online if necessary.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
I have considered the following 2 builds:

A.Intel

1.Intel Core i5-3470
2.Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard
3.G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL)

B.AMD

1.AMD FX 8350
2.ASUS M5A97 R2.0
3.G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL)

I'll use my old 9500gt with the AMD system.I won't be gaming atleast for 6-8 months. So I'm not investing in a GPU right now.
Any other suggestions welcome.

FX 8350 is currently retailing for ~12,800 while FX 8320 is avaliable for ~10,300.

My suggestion:

FX 8320 (10300)
Asus M5A97 r2.0 (7200)
G.Skill RipjawsX 1600 MHz 8 GB (4500)

total: 22,000

> There isn't much performance difference between FX 8350 and 8320. Also, with the type of tasks you mentioned, 8 GB ram will be very useful.

^ you may want to post the quoted price first before buying so we can tell you if you are being overchaged or if better deals are available.
