Max Payne 1 and 2 were my first favorite games. Of course I played it pirated. I had no idea about buying games back then.
Story of these games were awesome. And man the OST!! Every time I heard it, I felt the sadness and emptiness of Max.

1. Deus Ex - A cyberpunk FPS + RPG that's all about conspiracy theories & cool leather trenchcoats; Why: It wasn't the stealth or the biotech augs that first drew me in, it was the breadth of the world. From hundreds of lines of dialogue to hundreds of newspapers and news entries, Deus Ex was the first gameworld that completely drew me in.

2. Dragon Age: Origins - A classic D&D game with a refreshing modern touch; Why: I know 'accessibility' tends to be more of a curse than a boon for gamers but the Bioware D&D formula needed to be made more accessible and DA:O was the perfect way to do it. Plus, it was backed by lore and characters that would turn any veteran fantasy author green in envy.

3. Space Rangers 2: Rise of the Dominators - A top-down 4x4 space exploration game + a sci-fi RTS + a text adventure + a space economy simulator +.... ; Why: Think of any space exploration game that has achieved some sort of notoriety or popularity in recent times- Rebel Galaxy? No Man's Sky? Chances are they were all inspired in no small way by 1C games' SR2. A genre-bending game that everyone should play.

4. Fallout: New Vegas - A Bethesda open world game with more flavor than any before it; Why: F:NV proved that Bethesda's template for open-world madness could be significantly improved with a better story and a feel that borrowed more from Louis L'amour than from Robert Heinlein.

5. Mass Effect Trilogy - The best science fiction universe ever created irrespective of medium; Why: Read the previous ten words. That's why.

Broken In
I was playing games from the time I got a pentium bundledwith strike commander, wing commander, syndicate and ultima.
But the most memorable game would be final fantasy 8, which I purchased after saving money for a year because it had such a beautiful box art.
It was the first high def 3d game is played in a 640x480 res because my computer didn't had the power to support it.
The game was good, but the memories of saving money and buying my first game makes menostalgic.
P.s I still think ff8 is best in series. I can spend hours playing triple triads

Gaming is Life
My all time favorites games are the ones in the Fallout Series :)

The Fallout series have in in my opinion the best post-apocalyptic role playing games ever ! I started out with Fallout 1 and 2 with their isometric view and turn-based combat and immediately fell in love with the beautiful open-world savage wasteland with the post-apocalyptic feel and retro-futuristic setting. I loved everything about 1 & 2 including the wonderful intro speech "war never changes", the unreal background music that gives you the chills, the eerie , scary and desolate ambience and the unique gameplay .

The best thing about Fallout was the incredible amount of choice that was given to you by the game .
You could either spend countless hours exploring, learning more about your environment slowly and interacting with the unique characters who provide different experiences or you could just do a quick run to meet the final boss. Hell, you even get to be a porn-star or a made-man if you like just for fun :)

As for your character , you could either be a complete goodie goodie or a badass mercenary or somewhere in the middle like most of us in real life but everything you did had consequences and affected the way the game's characters react to you when you are conversing and interacting with them to progress in the game, buy or sell things or just trying to explore.

I also spent hours on each replay playing around with S.P.E.C.I.A.L skills which has a huge influence in shaping your unique character and how you play the game. I absolutely loved how you could opt to sweet talk your way through difficult situations with enough skill on Charisma and Intelligence or how could go about massacring everything in your path with strength, endurance, agility and perception. The perks that you get to choose are just the cherry on top :)

I have replayed and enjoyed Fallout 1 , 2 , 3 and New Vegas a number of times. I have also tried the spin-off Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel which was just okay . I even played Fallout Shelter on Android and while being not nearly a complete game as the others , it allows you to reminisce and remember those beautiful memories for those of us that have played Fallout in the past .

I am yet to play Fallout 4 and really looking forward to it but from what I have heard , sadly a lot of things that made the former games in the series amazing are missing on the latest installment but regardless I don't think I can ever have enough of the Fallout universe :)

If you guys love RPG style game play and the idea of a post-apocalyptic world then this is not something to miss. Fallout 1 & 2 are unfortunately a bit dated now but if you can ignore the graphics and user interface problems then you would have an amazing gaming experience. But if you are reluctant then first try Fallout 3 which might be much more easier to accept.

(I love to categorize things)

Fav RTS: Age of Empires 2, StarCraft 2 -- Age of Empires 2 is the first RTS game I played. I remember when I was in 2nd grade me and my brother made a pact of when who gets to play the game. StarCraft 2 because its mechanics and gameplay, storytelling, graphics are just amazing. Its the most flawless rts made.

Fav FPS: Far Cry 3 (Hon. Mention to Crysis) -- Dont play a lot of open world FPS but the immersion in the world of FC3 is just phenomenal!

Fav Racing: Burnout Paradise, Race Driver: GRID -- Just like the steering mechanics of Burnout and the drifts are just soo smooth lol. As for GRID, I've mastered the game. Won 24 heurs du Le Mans on Ninja difficulty (Best circuit racing game).

Fav RPG -- Final Fantasy VII -- No need to explain; graphics suck but the story will bring a tear to anyone's eye.
