connecting 2 computers using usb to usb

hi everyone!!!!

can anyone plz tell me how i can connect my computer with my friend's IBM R52 laptop using a USB to USB cable?

my system config is:

P4 - 2.4 HT

D865GBF motherboard

512 Mb RAM

80 GB hard disk

U cannot connect two computers using a USB cable.U can Use 8-wire networking cable which should be crimped in a cross connection.

USB is not a network interface.
you need some device to make virtual LAN on USB port...so U can't use USB ports directly to connect two PC.
