Computer Configuration Needed

I feel that my computer needs an upgrade.

My Current comp. configuration are:

Intel core2Duo E4500,
Intel 945GCPE Motherboard, 1 Gb 667MHz Zion DDR2 Ram, 160 Gb WD HDD,
Samsung DVD writer, 17" Acer moniter, Logitec Multimedia Keyboard and mouse, Hp F2100 MFD Printer,
Frontech 2.1 2080W speaker, Promax 600VA UPS, Local ATX Cabinet (Perhaps 450W PSU we get it in RS 1100)

I Want a Graphic card now as I will be switching Xp Sp2 32bit to win7 32bit and 1 TB HDD. My needs are casual gaming, movies and a bit of Programing. No Gaming Controllers,Sound Card, Mousepad or Headphone needed though you can suggest one If I will be able I will buy it. If You think the Local cabinet I referred will do with a new PSU added Please Consider it but if you think of a proper cabinet you can suggest one.
Don't see the MRP rather look at what prices the retailers are giving. I live in Ranchi. Price of Seagate 7200.11 500 Gb Rs 1900, Seagate 7200.11 1TB RS 3100 etc which are almost similar to everywhere with minor differences.

For only Processor, Motherboard, HDD, RAM and a Graphic card upgrade Keep the budget in 10-15K and For whole setup keep budget in 30K.

Please Suggest configuration for both conditions. I will highly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

"For only Processor, Motherboard, HDD, RAM and a Graphic card upgrade Keep the budget in 10-15K and For whole setup keep budget in 30K." - Wats the extra 15k for?Is it for a good cabinet n PSU coz u hv all the other stuff(like Monitor,mouse,keyboard)..
Athlon II X4 635 - 5k
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H - 4.5k
2 GB DDR3 GSkill RAM - 2.3k or Kingston - 1.8k
HDD 1TB - 3.1k(as u hv found out from ur local retailers)
All this comes upto 14.4k(with Kingston)/14.9k(with GSkill). Now with extra 15k u can go for
CM Elite 310 - 1.6k
Corsair VX450W - 3.5k
Sapphire HD5770 - 8.7k

@ssb1551: Thanks regarding the config. actually the remaining 15k i thought if people recommend changing moniter speaker etc. Although the local cabinet is good but I am giving other ratings of the it please verify then reply

Thts not the rating of ur cabinet!!Thts the rating of ur PSU!!I wud advise u to get a better PSU like Corsair!!
n its very difficult to get CPU+MoBo+RAM+HDD+GPU in 15k!for tht amount u can only get CPU+MoBo+RAM+HDD!!

For 15K you can only get an onboard Graphic card, which is not good for gaming. It can only run old games at low settings.

The config by SSB is v good.

@ssb1551:That is why i asked about PSU the cabinet is good as I wrote above thanks for advice.
@Ishu Gupta: Onboard Graphics can be good but going for a graphic card is generally better even though if the card is basic that's why I asked a good card in that budget.

I always look for components in DIGIT mag. but I thought it to be good if I even take more advice so as to confirm of what I think is good or not.

Thanks to all for help.

the psu you mentioned is crap, its only got 15amps on 12v+ rail..better change it as ssb mentioned atleast to fsp.

also will you change monitor in future, if not then HD5770 is overkill for that 17" monitor you currently have!

Sry!!I took the literal meaning of ur words:p coz I always think ppl mean wat they say.I tot u r actually refering to cabinet's rating which I hadn't heard b4 n hence my reply.Sry!!

n oh yeah Jas is right abt 5770 bein an overkill for ur current 17" monitor.U can look for HD5670.Hope it helps!

@abhinav, change PSU & get a good solid board with IGP. save up money for graphics card & buy later down the line when IGP fails to deliver at desktop resolution. but for now as per your 17" CRT is concerned, its enough.

Thanks for replies.Sorry about monitor details. Its a LCD 17" moniter(Acer AL1702W) and this is the reason that I asked if there is a change needed thus thinking of extending the budget upto 30k now I am getting a 21" or 23" I am not exactly sure about size in 8k and a good entry graphic card ranges to 5K.
@ssb1551:Now a days one needs to look carefully for true intention of words as way may be same but meaning may not. not being philosophical but one needs to be attentive.Don't take otherwise.
Thanks about PSU advice.I am not good with that.

Shouldn't the speaker make sure the others understand exactly wat he/she wanna convey?Lemme quote u again : "Thanks regarding the config. actually the remaining 15k i thought if people recommend changing moniter speaker etc. Although the local cabinet is good but I am giving other ratings of the it please verify then reply."
I think any1 wud say u r givin the ratings for PSU.Now am I wrong in assumin tht?
Anyways u can get BenQ 22" monitor for 7.5k n a good GPU for arnd 5k wud b Sapphire HD5670 512MB.

I would advise changing the speakers too if you have the budget. And in future don't buy frontech/intex/tech-com crap. Stick with reputed brands for good quality products.
And the ratings mentioned on the local PSU are all false, don't rely on them.

avoid asus at all cost! service sucks!
as you are into casual gaming you wont need a high end gfx card.

AMD Athlon II x4 635 @ 4.8k
MSI 785GM E51 @ 3.6k
Kingston 2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 1.7k
MSI GTS450 Cyclone @ 7.8k
WD 500GB Blue @ 1.8k
LG 22x DVD SATA @ 0.9k
FSP Saga II 500W @ 2.2k
CM Elite 310 @ 1.5k
Dell S2009W 20" @ 6.5k

Total - 30.8k

BTW guys Dell IN 2020 20" Widescreen LED is also there at 6.6k so what should be the better option - the lcd i mentioned or the LED?
