noob for non-gamers?

How can a non-gamer be a noob? He just doesn't game.

Noob is a gamer who doesn't play well, especially in comparison to his teammates, mostly leading to downfall of the entire team.

Counting backwards now...

The people who are "not" geeks, are simply who are "not".
I don't think any term is required to represent them! :|

That being said.. I think I have a term for non-geek Indians --> "Yindans"?

PS: I would also go with, "Bleek" as suggested by shubh.h. Since it rhymes with geek, and it's not already a dictionary term.

I think using "he/she is not a geek" suffices for now.

Geek is an extreme word. Someone who is not a geek can still be a user of many gadgets. So the opposite "word" may convey a wrong meaning, i.e. the the non-geek person doesn't know anything or use anything.

Then Bleek it is. :)
Or if anyone can come up with something else that would be great!

Hmm actually Bleeks is not that bad.
Any more ideas?

"Yindans".... :) or "Yindians" :)

Fact is in the same geographic location - two countries and two nationalities co-exist.

India and "Yindia"
Indians and "Yindans"

The sad part is, Yindans outweight "Indians" by the ratio of 10000:1.

To know more about "Yindans" read the comments on Rediff.com and ToI.com.

2. a computer expert or enthusiast (a term of pride as self-reference, but often considered offensive when used by outsiders.)

Whoever could find his way into this/any forum can be considered a computer enthusiast and hence a geek.
