Broken In
I recently installed the vp6 codec from On2 technologies. It is a video codec used for high quality compression. In the documentation with the codec it says that it can be used for encoding/decoding with video editing software such as WinAVI and VirtualDub. But in VirtualDub for example I do not see any mention of it even though I have installed the codec. Why are these encoding software not able to detect the installed codec?

Why do you really need the VP Decompressor!?

Download and install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack. Not only doz it have VP6 but it has VP7 as well !! And you can play all the files in our very own WMP!!!!!!!!

Well i have reservations about K Lite Mega Pack. it plays havoc with the Windows Movie Maker. Movi Maker always crashed when i had K lite installed...

Any idea though why???
