Cannot open any folder or drive

    I followed the tutorial to change the icons of the file types given here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/sawyer_03june30.mspx
    I changeed the icon for the Drive And Filefolder file types from the folder options as given.But after that ,whenever i clicked on the drive or any folder a search window opened and also the icon didnt change to what i specified .please help
    I dont want to use sys restore

    look bro if you have system restore on then restore your system to an earlier point..

    Open regedit and goto following keys one by one:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell


    Under these keys, u'll find a key with name find, just delete it :)

    @vishal , how long did it take for u to learn the entire windows registry

    LOL, I'm pretty sure VG doesn't know 'entire' windows registry. :D but hey he knows enough to write a book ;)
