I am unable to boot into fedora core 5. I just changed the display settings to display 16 bit colour rather than 32 bit colour. Now whenever Linux boots up, the display goes blank. It simply shuts off as in when the computer is turned off. What do I have to do now?. Help.

I managed to solve the problem by using the install disk, going into rescue mode & restoring a backup of the xorg.conf file.

Thanks for the help anyway. But I can't figure out why this problem occurred in the first place. All I did was to switch to 16 bit mode from 32 bit.
