Can I upgrade Ginger Bread to Ice Cream Sandwich?

I am using Galaxy Y GT-S5360 with Android version 2.3.6
I want to know if I can upgrade it to ICS.

u will have to flash a custom recovery called ClockWorkMode (CWM) recovery and then install the ROM using the recovery.

check forums in xda-developers.com for futher assistance on this. Learn it first and then experiment, dont do both at a time.

As far as I know,the technicians at samsung's authorized service centers will upgrade the existing version of android on your phone to ICS for a nominal fee-you may want to check with them first before attempting to upgrade it yourself.

Also it voids warranty(if you still have it although you can reflash to stock)
