Can I Install 32 bit and 64 bit OS in same computer..?

I currently have a 32bit processor, and a 32bit OS Windows 7

In order to play GTA 5, I want to install 64 bit OS. So without formatting my current 32 bit OS, can I install 64 bit in one partition..?

While booting, it should ask 32 or 64. How to do so?

Please help..?

Nope,in order to install 64-bit OS your machine's CPU must be 64bit processor.
Though in a 64bit processor(CPU or APU) based computer you can install a 32-bit OS

If your processor supports 64-bit OS, you can install it alongside the 32-bit version. But, the default boot menu for Windows 7 doesn't show which one is 32-bit or 64-bit. You'll see two entries in the boot menu with same name. It can make you go nuts for the first few times you turn on your PC until you become familiar with which entry( first or second) is 32-bit and which is not.

Also, if all your programs can run in 64-bit OS, considering switching to it instead of dual boot. You can still the other license you have too.

Processor is 32bit..!! So I can't play GTA5 as it require 64bit os..?

Athlon II X4 345 3.1GHZ
WIN 7 32 BIT OS
4GB DDR3 CORSAIR
SEAGATE 1 TB

why both? 32bit is wayy outdated now unless you have some use for certain 32bit specific programs
also I believe you can use a 32 bit license on 64bit and vice versa

Only few old ones such as turbo cpp or some really old programs specifically need 32bit only. 64bit OS can easily run 32bit apps. And yes the genuine license for Windows applies to both editions AFAIK. Newer crop of games usually require 64bit support now

Oh thank god. Yeah I've installed OS before. No worry on that. I had doubt with this, installing both 32,64 in one drive. Thanks buddy

Oh..Okay, am now training on Android development course, so there are two different versions of the Development Studio. Am using 32bit one now, so if both OS can't be installed, I'd have to download 64bit again.

Yes you can. Just not at the same time.
Usually, each OS will need to be installed in separate hard drives or partitions on a hard drive.
The 'easy option' is to upgrade to 4GB of RAM and keep your 32bit OS.

well for starters, 32bit can only use 3.5gb of ram so getting 4gb ram on 32bit is a waste,rather install a 64bit version using the same key or simply dual boot 32bit and 64bit
it certainly is possible to have both 32 and 64 at the same time
no one implied that youll install in the same partition,thats not possible

also how will adding 4gb ram on a 32bit windows allow op to play GTA 5 which doesnt run at all on 32 bit and only runs on 64 bit
