My firefox browser isn't working, I mean it isn't opening at all. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling, but I'll lose all my bookmarks. There are some very important links there for which I don't have any copy. Are the bookmarked files stored somewhere in the firefox folder? I mean could I retrieve those links in anyway?

The problem with my browser is in this thread:

The bookmarks are NOT stored in the Firefox folder. They're stored in the
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<xxxxxx>.default
folder by the name bookmarks.html. Copy the file and then un-/reinstall FF. BTW, this has already been covered in a lot of threads here at the forum.

Hey man! You are a life saver. Thanks a million times. And I did try searching all the firefox related links for a solution, but couldn't locate an appopriate one. I've never been good enough with searching here! :( Sorry for that!

No problem, you're welcome. As for the search all you need to do is select the "Search for all terms" radio button and enter as many search terms related to your query, for example, "backup firefox bookmarks" and that would have given you the links. Still, no problem. :D I hope I helped.
