Hello,
my configuration is-
pentium dual core(2.4ghz)
Intel g33 motherboard
2gb ddr2
160gb sata 2
xfx 9400gt.

I want to change my pentium dual core to intel quad core.All other components will remain same.Will it give any improvements in gaming????

Intel Quad Core does not exist now as it has reached end of life. Instead of Core 2 Quad series you get Core i5 series. Please mention your budget because you will have to change your motherboard if you want to buy the new processor. 2GB of DDR3 RAM is also highly recommended these days as prices are cheap. You can also opt for AMD's quad core lineup which is value for money but is less powerful than the intel processors.
