Buying PC under 24k - Need Suggestions !!!!!!

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Crysis 3, Max Payne 3, GTA 4, Fifa 12, Diablo 3.
Adobe Photoshop cs6

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 24k Max

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes, 18-22 inch

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Next Month.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

If the prices are less while buying online ,would definitely buy it.

You'll need to stretch your budget if you need to play games like Crysis 3, MP3, etc at medium settings. I mean doing justice to the graphcis offered by these games.

This is the RIG I would recommend but note that it wont be blazing fats in gaming... you will need to cut down some of the graphics settings. If you need decent gaming, I would suggest to increase the budget a bit and get a Radeon HD6670 1GB DDR5 which will cost you below 6K.
Note that the prices are subjective... you'll get much better deals at Lamington Road.

Go for a DDR5 card....There's a significant performance gap .

If you cant increase your budget:

PROCESSOR : INTEL PENTIUM G630
GPU : Sapphire HD5670 512 MB DDR5 for 3.6 - 4k

Save money on the PSU and go for a VIP 500/600W it’ll be enough.
These components will handle Crisis 3 easily at medium settings but processor might cry in MP3,BF3 and you’ll have to decrease the DRAW DISTENCE in GTA with this GPU. HDD are cheaper these days, check out your local vendors you might get a Seagate 500GB for 3K. here in pune its available for 3.3k.

OR

In case you can increase your budget:

PROCESSOR : AMD A6 3500
MOBO : Biostar A55ML+
GPU : MSI 6670 1 GB DDR5 for 5-5.2k

Crysis 3,MP3,GTA's at Medium settings easily.

Rest of the components same as suggested by mandarpalshikar .

For 30K.... Below is the best you can get. Never compromise on your PSU for cost since this is the prime component which can cause out-of-warranty damages like burning to your RIG. Corsair is the best brand right now and easily available. I;ve personally use Antec VP450 PSU before so my recommendation would be to go for Corsair PSU only.

for gaming intel processor beats amd hands down.you need 600W only if you are buying a quad core processor & a costly power hungry card(which you are not).

Yes... and a lot depends on the manufacturer as well. PSU of 450W from Corsair will always beat PSU of 600W from say Circle/Zebronics, etc. in efficiency since these local PSUs don't deliver 600W at peak.

1. 450W from a good manufacturer (read Corsair or Seasonic) is good for you.
2. You can go ahead with this processor and mobo but as whitestar_99 said Intel is better choice. You can have a look at Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 mobo for combining with Phenom II.
3. Get this - Sapphire HD5670 1Gb DDR5 for 4.8K

But why are you thinking about card below 6k when you can accommodate 7770 in your budget as I suggested ? If you are AMD fan boy just replace the processor and mobo with AMD one -

CPUAMD Phenom II 5604700 Rs
MotherboardGigabyte GA-880GM-USB34700 Rs

None of the AMD Dual Core or tri Core processors, including APU 3500 or Phenom II X2, can't compete with Intel Pentium Dual Core series, based on SB architecture when it comes to gaming performance. G630 performs equal or better than AMD Athlon II quad cores. For Graphics card, get HD 6770 from MSI which is available at smcinternational.in @ 6.2K.

clilus has suggested a great gaming rig for 30K, go for it blindly, you can play games at medium or high settings. good job clilus.

K I have a silly question -
1) Does the Clock Speed Of The 2 mobo makes any diff in gaming or doing photoshop... like for Intel® Pentium® Processor G630
(3M Cache, 2.70 GHz) and for AMD Phenom II BE 3.3GHz .

2) If my mobo is DDR3 and My Graphic card is DDR5 ...it doesnt hav any problems right ????

3) First time m buying a Western Digital HDD ... is it good than Seagate ?

4) LG v/s Dell which fares well?

5) Finilised My List
Component Name
CPU ---- Intel Pentium G630
Motherboard ---- Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2H
RAM ---- Corsair Value Select 4GB 1333 MHz
Graphic Card ---- MSI R7770 1GB DDR5
PSU ---- Corsair VS450 or 600W
Cabinet ---- iball Piano
HDD ----WD Caviar Blue 500GB
Monitor ----LG 20” E2042C
Optical Drive ----Asus DVD Writer.

1. Apart from clock speed... we need to think about the underlying architecture of the processors as well. Its too complicated. Dont worry... Intel will perform better than AMD one for you.
2. Your mobo supports DDR3 that means the RAM modules which you'll install will be DDR3. Gaphics card have a different kind of VRAM which we commonly know as GDDR memory (not DDR).
So dont worry about this as well. Mobos dont have compatibility thing with which memory your GFX card will be handling since VRAM resides on the GFX card and communication with it is
handled by your graphics processor rather than CPU.
3. WD is good. Now prefered brand than Seagate becuase I guess they offer 1 year more warranty and have slightly less failure rates than Seagate. I have used both of them and luckily none
of them ever failed for me.
4. Dell is good if you can get it for around same cost as that of LG :) Usually Dell are prices higher since they really are of good quality.
5. Good choice.. go ahead. If your budget is 6k for GFX then get 6770 as Cilus suggested and if budget is 8k then get 7770 as I suggested.

Thanks For explaining it to me...:D

Only 1 thing Is Left -

1)May I know Which is the best LED Monitor (20" or 22" inch) For Viewing HD Movies Other Than LG Monitors - Below 7k

2) Anyone Here using MSI R7770 1GB DDR5(Graphics Card) , i want to know how it performs and you would rate it out of 5.

3) iball piano ...which product to buy ?

Right off the assembly line
If u r thinking of a gaming pc... den try to invest as much as psble on the graphics card.. not on the processor...

1. Usual resolution of 20" monitors in 1600 x 900 which is not full HD. You can watch videos and play games at 720p resolution on these monitors. Starting from 21.5" monitors, you'll get full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.
2. If you are going for Full HD monitor then 7770 is not advised as its not good for Full HD gaming. In that case you'll need to get HD7850 which will set you back for around 16K.
3. iBall Piano 261 - Its a full tower cabinet -
