My suggestion:
* Intel i5-2400 -- 9.5k
* Intel H61WW -- 3.5k
* Corsair 4GB DDR3 -- 2.2k
* Seagate 7200.12 1 TB -- 2.7k
* FSP SAGAII 500W -- 2.1k
* Zebronics Bijli -- 1k
* Radeon 5670 -- 4.5k
Total --- 25.5k

Its not a good idea to spend extra 1k for another DVD-RW. Use that 1k and go for a good UPS like APC 600Va at 1.6k.

It is a good card. Will help in gaming especially when your son grows up and play graphic intensive games :)

even otherwise a dedicated graphic card is always good to have. For HD videos and such. Integrated gfx are just not cut for it. This comes from my limited experience of 2 laptops: a 2year old core2duo wid ATI (HP dv6) and a new i3 with intel gfx integrated (jerky HD playback @Dell latitude).

Also what is the difference between i5 2400 and 2500 apart from Rs.500-700 and 300hz? and why is the latter not suggested?

Its a great Processor. Alternatives are AMD Athlon x4 635 but the i5 2500 is better. Keeping your budget in mind we suggested the i5 2400 because there may be difference in street price.

P.s- You probably wont notice any difference between i5 2400 and i5 2500

yes, its probaly the same mobo.
Its DH61WW only. And DH67BL will overshoot ur budget by 2k.
If u r ok with intel's on-die graphics then it s good then u can skip the GPU for now and add it when u really need it.
