Budget 12-15K just for mobo,CPU,RAM,HDD,SMPS

Hi,

I need to buy mobo, CPU, RAM, HDD, SMPS.

Budget is 12-15K , place of buy : Kolkata.

Please suggest a configuration.

Is branded PC possible with that price?

In general if I assemble it how is the performance?

motherboard|Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H|4500
RAM| G. Skill 2 GB 1333 MHz|1100
HDD|seagate 1TB 7200.12|2700
SMPS|Corsair CX400|2500
|total|15400

suggested CX400 because unavailability of FSP PSU in kolkata local market..if you can order online then FSP Saga II 500 W @2.1K..you can go for 500gb hdd @1.7k if you want to save money!!

Yes, Assembled PCs are always better than Branded.
Reasons
* You get better components for the same price.
* Most Branded PCs provide only 1yr warranty but in a Assembled system u get a min of 3yr.
And many more..

Which one is better buying from local shop or online?

If any issue in component, How to get the warranty?
I have to take the component to local RMA?

yes you can take it to local rma. if not any then send it back to them(online store).
first look if components are there locally. if not then order online.

@soumyajit, regarding AMD your comp guy is bluffing, moreover within 10k no good intel config is there, plus below 7k segment of processors AMD rocks..for suggestion make your own thread and fill the questionnaire..we cam guide you properly then!!

@bengaltiger, get 500 gb hdd that will settle your config to 14.4k..if you don't add gpu later then you can settle with FSP saga II 400w @1.7k but you have to buy online..rest are as Jas said reconnended..for shop Vedant (22129832) and eastern logica (22256455) are recommended at chandni chawk!!

~4.5K this is the one..you may get M4A88T-M LE @3.7k but better stick with Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H!!
other suggestions:
msi 880gma-e45 @5.4k
Gigabyte GA 880GA UD3H @5.5k
Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 @5.5k
ASUS M4A87TD USB3 @5.6k (non-igp)
