BSNL Home 500 speed Discussion

Hi i am using Bsnl home 500 data one service, today i was surprised by the speed i got. Earlier i used download manager like Internet Dwnload Manager , and it would deliver speed upto 40 to 50 kbps but , luckily today that software expired and had to uninstall it. After that i downloaded a 75mb file using firefox 2 inbuilt dowload manager hoping to take hours but the speed was always above 72kb/s i dunno how it happened, but its a great advantage. May be that the time was ripe or may be the firefox is good for download pupose. How much speed do you all usually get?Please share your views.

even m on HOME 500.. today mrng i dnwldd 2.2 GB data...3 movies in a go...
dats vry gud.....earlier i ws experiencin very low speeds..
today it clockd 240-250KBps n torrents..

yeh firefox internal dwnload manager's too gud....bt try out DAP too..
