Hi! Friends, my PC takes lot's of time to boot up, it spends almost 10-15 minutes to show me the XP's login screen. And again more than 5 minutes to show the desktop. In worst conditions it doesn't start at all and displays an error "Boot disk error..." before the booting process. I have got a new motherboard two months ago because of a failure in my motherboard. My warranty preiod is over so I can't send the PC to the vendor.
My configuration is :
Intel P4 3.00 GHz
512 MB DDR RAM
Western Digital 80 GB HDD
Mercury PI865D7 motherboard with Phoenix-Award BIOS
Samsung CD-RW / DVD-ROM
My PC is almost two years old. Please help someone! Any help would be appreciated because the computing experience is killing me.

1st properly clean your all of your hardware componets, resit everything properly & reset your cmos settings.

This prob could also be caused by moisturizer. Buy some packet of silica gel
from a chemist shop & place those packets into your cabinet. These packets will suck the moisturizer into the cabinet. When they turn pinkish replace those packets
