Well, Just the Hex Number or any DLL/SYS file is mentioned?

Usually, BSODs have a heading.. like for instance, 'IRQL_LESS_OR_NOT_EQUAL', etc.

Can you post that?

I suspect your RAM has gone bad. Try getting a replacement. (Or download Memtest86+ and Test it)

remove all external devices attach like printer, pendrive and all. Also remove graphics card if you have any.Than try to install XP.

If it all fails..than I am scare you hard disk is corrupted.Try to install on another hard disk..and I am sure you will be able to install XP.

Also, care:
1) Have you installed any new hardware in your system.
2) Do fresh installation, avoid repair.
3) Have you updated driver of any new hardware.

Maybe your RAM has gone faulty.Have a look in the event viewer.[Control panel>Administrative tools>Event Viewer] and check for any red icons there.

I think its might be ur SMPS problem. Can u tell its brand, wattage & other specifications like current under +12v rail...If u can check it with another good SMPS.Its my 1st option.

or u can try this to make ur Bios to default values :
Try to reset ur Bios jumper, its Close to CMOS battery.1st take the battery out & remove the jumper & install it in nearby 2 pins.Means in both cases(set/normal & reset) the middle pin is common.Place it there in reset position.put the battery.Make ur pc ON go to ur Bios(if u be able) by pressing Del key.Make Bios setting Default.save & exit. Now set ur jumper to normal position & Make ur pc ON.it may help u..

& reply wht u get..
