i had this prob with my HD4850,turned out that it was a faulty card(had a faulty power connector)!

I am afraid if the case is same with me...but as i said..many people around the world had the same prob.. nv4_disp.dll ..all of em can't have a faulty card..but everyone reported the prob after installing the card..no one was without a gfx card.. lol..

hey it is sometimes common when ur having vista ... i am having the same problem since i upgraded to vista... upto my knowledge its some fuzzy logic problem thinks no 1 is working on it and goes to blue screen .... while the remedy i found is... whenever i start the system , i open a game for instance nfshp2 and minimize it and work on other applications... its just like keeping computer engaged even when ur not playing... its working for me... just try
