2). Day Commuting or Cruiser.
3). Budget.

IMO add few more & get a Royal Enfield.

Pulsar 150/180:
(+) Affordable Bike, Looks good & Avg Performance.
(-) Engine is not refined, not smooth at all.
(-) Bajaj Quality Sucks.

Yamaha FZ16 or FZS: Seriously not for Long trips.
(+) Sporty Looks & Raw Performance.
(+) Ridings Position is good, but Pillion driver will suffer.
(-) Engine is not refined, not smooth at all.

Apache:
(+) Nice Features & Performance too.
(+) Nice Riding Posture.
(-) Vibration on higher speeds.

Pulsar 220 - Carburetor Version:
(+) Serious Performance. & sweetly priced
(-) Engine is not refined, not smooth at all.
(-) Bajaj Quality Sucks.

HH Karizma ZMA:
(+) Looks good, Avg Performance & Nice or Awesome for Cruising.
(+) Nicely Refined Engine.
(-) Pricey & Mileage Sucks.

RE Thunderbird:
(+) Speechless Performance.
(-) High Waiting Time [in south part part]

Affordable 150cc bike with overall decent looks and performance.
Nothing stands out that is a big + or -

I have to disagree on that part.. My bro has this bike, beats a P180 handily.. (tested)

After all every bike's performance depends on the way u treat them during their break-in period..

For FZ16, FZS & Apache RTR
(+) Can lean all the way you want.(with Pillion rider)

Do not go for FZ, my friend pays 1500 for each service, parts are very expensive. Pulsar is good and low maintenance, but sucks quality. Unicorn is smooth with outstanding quality engine fit and finish.
