Best Reliance Handset for internet

for a reliance internet connection :_

1) does internet speed depend on model of handset or any handset used will give same speed on comp?

2) if handset does affect this...which wud be the best handst? any good model from nokia?

ps- anybody used reliance r-connect card? its pretty costly... 14K initial price !!

One word of caution. DO NOT use LG RD 5130. It has standby feature which means it disconnects r-connect if idle for 10-15 seconds. But what happens is, it never again receives data even after connected again. Only solution is to disconnect from computer and dial again.

Well I would prefer you should go for the landline conenction with 1500 plan as it rocks!!!! i am using it and its performance is quite good.

PS: dont go for the cordless phone as it dont give good speed.
