 first choice tune-up.
then systemmechanic

registry mechanic is real slow.

ace utilities (not mentioned here) i put on par with tune-up.
super utilities is also great !

adv sys optimizer slightly dicey. had to system restore once. in any case it keeps createing a system restore pount ALL d time. can get irritating.

norton & co..i usually avoid :)

nevr heard of adv admin tools.

Hello Ashu! Sorry, but Regisrty Mechanic is not free. You need to get a unlocking key from the company to use the software. Ofcourse you can download a trail version from the company's website.

Well yes its really unfortunate tat this REGISTRY MECHANIC 5 is a paid version fora full time use.. :(
Well to say the least i was really surprised to find tat my registry had more than 100 errors/misplacements..  Well i think i will continue to use the Trial version itself...and it sure helps in the shutting down as well as restarting of the PC a lot faster...

Cheers n e-peace...

hello ppls :).....im new on the forum ......couldnt avoid the temptation to add my own opinion ....

well i was/am using system mechanic pro 5.5 to clean my registry and use it once a week to check/clean my registry....its good and cleaned not only the registry but much of the debris ... but untill a few days back i downloaded a programe called 'registry supreme' and used it ...and say what .......it showed up 100's of entries which the other registry cleaners couldnt detect and plus it has many options give it a try ppl, and let us know how it worked for you aswell.
also try using 'superwin's regvac'
10x. :)

BTW the link for registry supreme is ..... www.macecraft.com & superwin's regvac ...... www.regvac.com
