^ well on that very page he has mentioned this too--
On the other hand, if you want to go with a Intel setup which I do not recommend then go for Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 CPU with Asus P5E-VM HDMI Motherboard.
but u need performance -- so Q6600 all the way

First of all I am just tahnkful of good peoples I see I can have more links on show. Well its just more features, because HDMI means you are thinking hard to make your system as a real multimedia PC with good performance.

no need sir

quad core - only if you are into 3D rendering/media enciding kind of stuff
C2D proccys are more than enough for the present and near future games...

DDR3 is not that superior to DDR2 as DDR2 was to DDR and is also very costly. so you wont be upgrading to DDR3 anytime soon. (but the GDDR3 in GFX cards pwns the DDR2)

When you have 4 Processors doing your work simultaneously 1066 MHz FSB is more than enough dude
Also the board gives you the flexibility to change to a good proc and DDR 3 in the future

the problem is we dont have much softwares that gets work done from all 4 cores :D

Also read this statement--
We could achieve a better overclocking with several other socket 775 motherboards with no fancy adjustments: ASUS P5N-E SLU (327 MHz), Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R (324 MHz), ASUS P5B Premium Vista Edition (323 MHz), ASUS P5B (316 MHz) and MSI P35 Neo Combo (314 MHz).
