only limitation is it does not have front video camera.

monte's only problem. its not a smartphone. it runs Samsung's propitiatory OS.

^^ Exactly. Monte is not a smartphone. Even Symbian-based Nokia 5230 is a better platform in that price.

H/W wise monte is slightly better but both Nokia 52** & Monte uses resistive screen.this should change this year BTW as cheap Androids are shipping with capacitive screens.

I think so. The only propitiatory OS based phones from Samsung would be the Star ones.
