Buy BenQ DW 2000 or Lite-on LH-20A1P (without Lightscribe)
BenQ DW 2010 or Lite-on Lh-20A1H (lightscribe)
(previous version of SONY were OK, but beware of Sony DRU-830A, rebagged of Samsung SH-S182D. samsung is not reliable brand in CD\DVD writer)

hey , i was planning to get a liteon LH-20A1P..but im wondering whts this LIGHTSCRIBE all about!!???
what it means to a DVD Writer without and Having a LIGHTSCRIBE.. what differnce it brings..?!!

LightScribe is an optical disc recording technology that utilizes specially coated recordable CD and DVD media to produce laser-etched labels.
The purpose of LightScribe is to allow users to create direct-to-disc labels (as opposed to stick-on labels), using their optical disc writer. Special discs and a compatible disc writer are required.

*Not worth spending money on-if u ask me (costs abt 1K more for this)
