Belkin N600 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router is not working in router mode

Belkin N600 DB Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router is not working in router mode. It is working fine when I use it in access point mode.
I observed the problem after I came home from a trip leaving the router on for 2 days..

I tried factory resetting the router, updating the firmware and installing the router setup software again..

But nothing works...

When I turn of the router, I am able to use it as a wireless acess point.. but i can only use one device at a time...
Please help

did you tried disabling the access point option?

Disabling the access point will start the router functinality.. but my problem here is that when in router mode... the router page is displayed but it does not detect my internet connection.... but it detects the same when used as an acess point..

Any more ideas?!

describe your exact setup(connection type,how devices are connected etc).
