1 plz give an idea how much a dell laptop battery (6 cell) costs ???

2 is there any method to increase battery life ?? since my last one(which came with the machine) lasted just over a year

Well original battery cost from rs 2.5k to so on.. depending upon the model.. with 1 yr warranty..

and the chinese battery gives 6month warranty and costs arround 1200 to 1500..
