avi to GIF convertor

can someone tell me the application to convert avi clips to gif images?

use jasc animation shop pro.... comes default with paint shop pro.

Just load the avi file and save it as gif.... + u can give many effects!!!

It does not come default with Paint shop Pro. You have to download it separately.

Virtual dub wil convert your avi file to bmp
then by using irfan view convert those to gif

avi clips to gif images?

mind it u r asking for images of gif files and not animations

virtual dub will take out eac frame and save it as bmp and then by batch convert irfan view will do the rest
